Dear Community Partners,
As families across Hillsborough County prepare for the start of a new school year, the Children’s Board is proud to stand alongside you – our parents, providers, and community partners – in supporting the success and well-being of every child.
Back-to-school season is a time of excitement, new beginnings, and growth. It also reminds us how important it is for children to have strong, consistent support systems in place at home, in school, and in the community. Whether it’s through after-school care, developmental screenings, parenting support, or access to basic needs, the Children’s Board and our funded partners are here to help families navigate the year ahead with confidence.
Children’s Board team members are once again participating in back-to-school events across the county, sharing valuable resources and connecting directly with families. These outreach efforts reflect our continued commitment to making services accessible, visible, and responsive to community needs.
The Children’s Board staff are immersed in preparations for our new fiscal year, renewing contracts and preparing to release new funding opportunities that address recently identified priorities and expand our reach. We are engaged in numerous activities to improve our work and increase support for the non-profit community. Included in this newsletter is information about a two-part grant training series, which we are excited to offer in the coming weeks.
Here’s to a successful, safe, and supported school year!
